ABOUT THE TOUR
Depart directly from the shoreline of Copa de Arbol on a short 10-minute boat ride to San Josecito Beach, one of the most scenic and sought-after beaches in the area. The ride offers views of small palm-topped islands before dropping you directly onto the sandy shoreline. Guests may relax on the beach, explore the area, or snorkel around natural reefs when ocean conditions allow. Snorkeling gear can be provided by the hotel, and visibility depends entirely on daily sea conditions. A moderate 20-minute trail leads toward the RÃo Claro river mouth, where a turtle conservation area is located (viewing only, when active and in season). Fresh coconuts can often be enjoyed straight from the trees. Snacks are provided. Morning trips allow the option to hike approximately 45 minutes back to the hotel along the coast, passing hidden coves and quiet beaches. Afternoon trips require a scheduled return boat ride due to early sunset. Suitable for guests ages five and up; children should be comfortable swimmers.
