About Copa de Arbol

Copa de Arbol is a privately owned, boutique eco-luxury resort located just south of the town of Drake Bay on Costa Rica’s Osa Peninsula. Family-owned and intentionally designed for intimacy, the property has remained under consistent ownership since its founding, allowing for a long-term vision rooted in conservation, thoughtful hospitality, and respect for the surrounding environment.

Accessible only by boat, Copa de Arbol offers a level of seclusion that is increasingly rare. Removed from roads and crowds, the experience begins with arrival, setting the tone for a stay defined by privacy, quiet, and connection to nature.

The property features nine private villas, each positioned within the rainforest to offer both comfort and immersion. Everything is intentionally placed, an open-air restaurant, a saltwater pool overlooking the Pacific, and a dedicated rainforest yoga space, so that guests can move seamlessly between spaces without disrupting the natural landscape.

Miles of trails wind through the property, leading to ocean access, tide pools, and wildlife corridors. Here, the environment is not a backdrop – it is the experience itself.
