BOOKING & CANCELLATION

• Rates are per person, based on double occupancy.

• There is a 25% increase to all rates for single occupancy, which will be calculated upon receipt of the reservation

• 3rd and 4th guests receive 10% off.

• Children 4 – 12 receive 50% off all room rates when staying with 2 adults

• 4 person villas have 3 person minimum unless all 2 person villas are unavailable

• All rates shown on the website are in US dollars

• Rates do not include 13% Costa Rican tax

• Holiday reservations have a 4-night minimum (December 15 – January 4)

• Package tours can be substituted for other tours upon request at the time of booking (depending on the tour additional fees may apply)

• Certain tours/activities do not receive the “child” or “extra person” discounts

• We cannot confirm specific date for tours in advance but will do our best to provide them as requested. Please email us 2 weeks prior to arrival and we can confirm at this time.

• Extra beds can be added to most of the accommodations

• Payment accepted with cash or credit card, Pay Pal, we do not accept Travelers Checks

• Alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, bottled water, specialty coffees and a complete menu for the restaurant/bar are also available but not included in the “complete package” or “daily rate” pricing.

• Copa De Arbol is a non-smoking hotel.

PRE PAYMENT / PAYMENTS

• A signed confirmation and credit card are required to secure your reservation. 

• The full balance will be charged 30 days before during the Green and High Season and 90 days before during Holiday Season.

• All reservations booked within 60 days before during the Green & High Season and 90 days before during the Holiday Season, payment is due in full at time of booking.

CANCELLATION POLICY

• If there is a “no-show” 100% of the total of the reservation will be charged.

• If a reservation is canceled 30 days or less prior to the arrival date on Green or High Season or 90 days or less during Holiday Season, 100% of the reservation will be charged. Your welcome to use this full payment for a future stay within the next 12 months.

• If a reservation is canceled more than 30 days prior to arrival during the Green and High Season or more than 90 days prior arrival during the Holiday Season a $100.00 per person cancelation fee will be charged.

• We strongly recommend travel insurance

ROOM LIMITATIONS

• We realize that our cancellation policy is strict; however, we have a small capacity and often have to turn down reservations. Therefore, we have found it necessary to invoke this policy. To avoid losing your money in the event you need to cancel at the last minute, we strongly recommend travel insurance. Thank you for your understanding.

• If for any reason Copa De Arbol needs to cancel guest reservations prior to the payment in full date, we will not apply the 100$ per person fee.  If full payment has been made, Copa De Arbol will refund the total amount. Copa De Arbol has the right to cancel any reservation at any time as necessary. In the event of cancellation, Copa De Arbol will do their best to assist in finding or reserving a comparable local hotel if available.
