The sunset boat cruise at Copa de Arbol is an intimate, one-and-a-half-hour private experience designed to enjoy Drake Bay from the open ocean during golden hour. Guests sail along the coastline with their own private captain and server, creating a relaxed and unrushed atmosphere ideal for meaningful time on the water. The cruise includes a selection of wine, champagne, or non-alcoholic beverages, paired with gourmet snacks such as fresh fruit and cheeses. As the sun sets, guests may witness dolphins, whales (seasonally), seabirds, and other marine life common to the area. This experience is well suited for couples, families, honeymoons, weddings, or anyone looking to enjoy a quiet, memorable moment at sea while taking in one of Drake Bay’s most beautiful natural displays.

- Your choice of wine, champagne, or non-alcoholic beverage.
Depart directly from the hotel shoreline for a relaxed sunset cruise along Drake Bay, with scenic coastal views, possible dolphin or whale sightings, and a return in time for dinner, ocean conditions permitting.
- Sunset Boat Cruise: Departs at approximately 4:30 pm. Returns at approximately 6:00 pm.
- Not wheelchair accessible
- Shoreline, boarding to a boat. Waters can be rough at times, or calm depending on ocean conditions.
Cancellations must be made at least 30 days prior to the scheduled date during Green Season and 90 days prior during High Season
Can we customize our appetizers and beverages?
Yes, we provide seasonal fruits and cheeses. You can request specific items, like, what beverage you would like wine, champagne, apple cider.
Is there a guaranteed sighting of ocean wildlife during the sunset boat cruise?
While Drake Bay is rich in marine life, sightings are subject to natural conditions. However, you may see dolphins and humpback whales on your tour.
Are there life preservers on the boat?
Yes, there are life preservers on the boat for all guests.
